  1. You gave a lot of good information about the what the prohibition actually did and how it resulted negatively than positively. Makes you think about the current war on drugs.

  2. It was interesting to hear how much the crime rates increased after the 18th amendment was put into effect when the government thought the rates would do just the opposite. I liked the pictures you used in your slide show.

  4. Your presentation was very informative about prohibition. I had no idea how important alcohol is to the American culture. I felt however that your presentation didn't really link this to any of today’s problems. I feel that could have been more discussed in your presentation. Other than that you did a great job and your presentation was very engaging.

  10. I enjoyed the presentation and the way prohibition was portrayed with an open and insightful look at life before and after the laws against alcohol. very informative and well presented, would liked to have had more than 10 to 12 minutes for this issue. soon we will be faced with similar problems in the not to distant future regarding the legalities of marijuana in the United States

  12. This was a very solid and straight to the point presentation, you gave us what we needed and it was the ideal presentation. Very informative, and the way it was pulled off was great. As Paul said, it would have been better to have had more than 10 minutes discussion of this topic, and that it ties into the modern issue of marijuana use, and the war on drugs.

  13. You guys did really well in presenting what you learned in preparation for this project. I thought it was pretty cool that even though the government tried to repress something that the people wanted, the people ended up standing up and keeping it. It is something we might be seeing now in California and Colorado with medicinal marijuana. It seems to be a present day prohibition for a lot of people.
